Admin login session — provider: Supabase. Purpose: keeps the administrator securely signed in to the website's admin area while managing bookings and content. Retention: for the duration of the logged-in session (typically a matter of hours), after which it expires. This cookie applies only to a logged-in administrator, not to an ordinary visitor who is simply browsing the site or making a booking.

Checkout session — provider: Stripe (cookie __stripe_sid). Purpose: enables the payment to run securely and helps prevent fraud during the checkout process. Retention: session cookie, approximately 30 minutes.

Device identifier for fraud prevention — provider: Stripe (cookie __stripe_mid). Purpose: recognises the device across payments in order to prevent fraudulent transactions. Retention: approximately 1 year.

The website does not set any other cookies. We store no analytics, performance, marketing, or profiling cookies.

Payments are processed through the secure Stripe payment gateway. When you pay, you are directed to Stripe's hosted interface (Stripe Checkout), so the __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid cookies described above are set and managed directly by Stripe on Stripe's own domain, not by us on faneslodges.com.

These cookies are necessary for Stripe to process the payment securely and to prevent fraud. Your card details are entered directly into the Stripe gateway — we never see or store them.

Strictly necessary cookies are those without which the website, or a specific function of it (such as signing in to the admin area or completing a payment), could not work. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as transposed into Greek law, your consent is not required to store or read them — the strictly-necessary exemption applies.

This notice is therefore for information only. Because we use no analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies, there is no tracking for you to opt out of, and we display no cookie consent banner.
